Registration & How it works
Do I need to buy a new charger to join ShareNplug?
No. ShareNplug connects to your existing charger (Easee, Wallbox, Zaptec, V2C Trydan, EVBox, and others). If you don't have a charger yet, we can guide you to a certified IRVE installation.
How is ShareNplug installed on my charger?
The integration is entirely remote — no technician needed. Create your account, enter your charger credentials, and our system connects via API or OCPP. Synchronization takes about 5 minutes on average.
Is my charger compatible with ShareNplug?
ShareNplug is compatible with most connected chargers: Easee, Wallbox, Zaptec Pro/Go, V2C Trydan, EVBox, Alfen, Garo, Schneider. Contact us to verify your model.
Is ShareNplug available everywhere?
ShareNplug is available across mainland France. Our hosts are located in both urban and rural areas. The closer you are to a high-density area, the more likely you are to have regular drivers.
Revenue & Payments
How much can I earn by sharing my charger?
On average, a ShareNplug host earns between €150 and €750/month depending on location, traffic, and rate set. Urban hosts near businesses or transport hubs generate the best revenue. Calculate your estimated revenue →
How am I paid?
Each completed charge generates an invoice and automatic payment. The amount will be deposited to your bank account within 5 business days via Stripe.
Is there a subscription or fixed fees?
No subscription, no fixed fees, no commitment. ShareNplug takes a 30% commission on each charge. If nobody charges, you pay nothing.
Do drivers pay directly to my account?
No. Drivers pay via the ShareNplug app (Stripe). ShareNplug collects the payment, deducts its commission, and automatically transfers your share. You have nothing to manage.
Can I set my own kWh rate?
Yes, you freely choose your kWh rate from your dashboard. We recommend aligning with local market prices (generally between €0.30 and €0.55/kWh) to maximize charge volume.
Security & Control
My charger is open to the public — will I pay for my own charging?
No. You can start your own charge via your charger's own app, which bypasses the ShareNplug billing system.
Can I disable sharing whenever I want?
Yes, completely. You control your charger's availability from your dashboard. You can enable or disable it at any time, set time slots, or block specific days (holidays, weekends, etc.).
Can a driver damage my charger?
The risk is very limited. Drivers access your charger only through the ShareNplug app after identification. Your charger remains locked between sessions. In case of an incident, our support is available 365 days/year.
Are payments secure?
Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, the world leader in online payment. Bank data never passes through our servers. Each transaction is encrypted and protected.
