Several solutions now let individuals or businesses share their EV charger. They don't all work the same way: here are the main differences worth knowing before you choose.

Chargemap

Chargemap is primarily known as a directory and map of public charging stations, with a feature that also lets you list private chargers available for rent. It's a solid solution for visibility (a large user community), but fine-grained pricing and automatic billing aren't historically its core business.

Partage Ma Borne

Partage Ma Borne is a platform dedicated to booking and monetizing chargers between individuals, working much like a marketplace: hosts list their charger, drivers book a time slot.

Recharge Plus

Recharge Plus targets individuals in single-family homes, co-owned buildings, tourism professionals and businesses with parking spaces, with a suggested pricing grid (around €1.10/hr for a reinforced socket, €2.20/hr for a 7.4kW charger, €3.30/hr for an 11kW charger).

The sharing feature built into the Wallbox app

Some manufacturers like Wallbox offer a sharing feature built directly into their app, with a commission of around 5%. The upside is how simple it is to activate; the drawback is that it only works with that manufacturer's hardware — impossible to manage several brands of charger from a single interface.
